MATISSE ON ART
This book collects and organizes Henri Matisse's writings on art. Although Matisse is valued as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century and features prominently in major modern art publications, and although he publicly shared his reflections on his work for almost fifty years, his writings have largely passed unnoticed.
Through this work, we seek to bring these texts closer to the public and students of modern art, promoting a deeper understanding of their artistic thought and legacy.
